CRANFORD—Author David Wheeler will discuss his newly published book, Wild New Jersey: Nature Adventures in the Garden State, at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue, on Wednesday, March 30, at 7:30 p.m.
Published by Rutgers University Press, Wild New Jersey invites readers along on Wheeler’s year-long tour of the most ecologically diverse state for its size in America. With help from charismatic wildlife biologists and local conservationists, he explores mountains, valleys, beaches, pine barrens, caves, rivers, marshlands and more. Copies of Wild New Jersey will be available for purchase and for signing.
Wheeler is the director of operations for the Edison Wetlands Association. He founded the nature blog, WildNewJersey.tv and has written on conservation for the Star-Ledger. The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Cranford Public Library. Admission is free and all are welcome.
