Rahway Library Hosts Job Readiness Workshop Series

RAHWAY — Rahway Public Library, in collaboration with Middlesex County College, will be offering job readiness workshops on Wednesday evenings during the months of April and May.  These workshops are for those who are looking for employment or considering a job transition.

Each workshop will cover the computer and job search skills vital for finding work in today’s job market.  The series will be presented by Charlie Pullara from Middlesex County College.  The first workshop in the series will be an Introduction to Windows on April 6 and 13.  The second will be Using the Internet Effectively to Find Jobs will be April 20 and 27.

Each of these programs is from 6-8 p.m. in the computer lab at the Rahway Public Library.  Registration is required for each workshop.   Registrants must also attend both sessions. The May topics will include Creating and Effectively Using an Email Account.  A second workshop on Creating Resumes and Other Career Search Documents in Word & Optimal Resume will also be held.  Look for details in future announcements.
