MOUNTAINSIDE – The federal Internal Revenue Service will auction a liquor license issued by the City of Plainfield on Tuesday, April 19.
New Jersey Plenary Retail Distribution License #2012-44-036-005 will be offered with a minimum bid of $22,000.
Only the right, title and interest of the taxpayer in and to the property will be offered for sale. If requested, the Internal Revenue Service will furnish information about possible encumbrances, which may be useful in determining the value of the interest being sold. The sale is also contingent upon approval of the transfer by the City of Plainfield.
The auction will be held at 10 a.m. at the IRS Office, 200 Sheffield Street (second floor), Mountainside. Mail-in bids will be accepted; forms are available at http://www.treasury.gov/auctions/irs/docs/mnjlicbid5099mbd.pdf
Twenty percent of the purchase price is due upon acceptance of the bid; the balance is due within 30 days.
