Mother Seton’s Literary Magazine Wins National Award

CLARK — The literary magazine, “Driftwood,” published by Mother Seton Regional High School of Clark, was recently awarded first place in the American Scholastic Press Association Competition.

Mother Seton publishes “Driftwood” every May; the magazine comprises student-produced poetry, prose, artwork, and photography. Students also handle all other aspects of putting together and publishing the literary magazine, including the editing process, layout, cover art, and everything else that goes between two covers. The editors of the 2010 edition of “Driftwood” were Jatinder Dhami, editor-in-chief; Anudeep Grewal and Vivian Min, layout editors; and Lorraine Cambria and Caitlin Duffy, copyeditors. Melissa Larson, an English teacher at Mother Seton, is advisor for the publication.
