ROSELLE PARK – “Winter in Roselle Park, Share the Magic” a group exhibit of photographs by Roselle Park residents, will be on display at the Casano Community Center Art Gallery through April 22. There will be a reception to meet the artists on March 30, from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

A total of 14 residents from Roselle Park, responded to a call for submissions with gorgeous photographs of winter scenes from their hometown. “I was amazed at the response. Probably the winter’s snowstorms inspired people to take photographs and capture these beautiful scenes. They reflect the sense of magic that occurs when one looks through the lens of a camera!” commented the exhibit’s curator, Leona M Seufert.

There are a total of 25 photographs in the show submitted by the following Roselle Park residents: Lynnor Bontigao, Brenda Calinawan, Ray Connelly, Joe DeIorio, Rose Kennedy, Liene T Kilgishova, Lillie Morales-Torres, Joy Panzarino, Daniel Rodden, Leona M Seufert, Marilyn Tavormina, Jacob Ultzhoffer, Sarah Ultzhoffer, Jerry Vitale.

Karen Intile, director of the Casano Community Center and Mayor Joseph Accardi did the judging for the awards. Due to the diversity of subject matter and the quality of the photography, Accardi decided to give out multiple awards based upon seven categories of subject matter.
