TRENTON – With no top prize winner for several weeks, the Mega Millions jackpot has ground to $105 million for Friday’s drawing.
Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players won the Mega Millions second prize of $250,000 in the Tuesday, March 1 drawing. One of the winning tickets was sold at a Linden 7-11, while the other was purchases at State News in Jersey City.
“Congratulations to 7-11 #23491 (N) and State News,” said the Lottery’s Executive Director Carole Hedinger. “ For selling these tickets, they will each receive a bonus check for $500. They have become two of the Lottery’s most recent ‘lucky locations’ overnight.”
According to Hedinger, 55,527 other New Jersey players took home $265,770 in prizes ranging from $2 to $10,000. The winning numbers for the Tuesday, March 1 drawing were: 01, 12, 19, 20 and 47 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 25. The Megaplier number was 03 .
The March 4 drawing will be televised at 11 p.m. on NJN-TV – the New Jersey Network.
