RAHWAY — Seventh grade students at Rahway Middle School recently tried their hand at advertising by creating travel brochures. After studying the Titanic disaster, they designed a brochure to persuade unsuspecting first class passengers to travel on the maiden voyage of the legendary ship. Students visited the computer lab to find information and original pictures of the ship’s accommodations and amenities. Their final product demonstrates an understanding of how to entice customers through the use of fact and opinion in advertising. Pictured above is Michael Akakpo with his brochure.
