NJ Veterans Receive Distinguished Service Medal

ELIZABETH – The state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs awarded the Distinguished Service Medal to New Jersey veterans during a ceremony at the Jersey Gardens Mall on Tuesday.

The medal recognizes honorably discharged veterans who served in a combat theater while on active duty during wartime or national emergency.
