CLARK – The Clark Public Library will host local resident Hope Blecher-Sass, author of “See It, Be It, Write It: Using Performing Arts to Improve Writing and Test Scores” at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 10.

Dr. Sass and her colleague, Maryellen Moffitt, will share their expertise about infusing the performing arts into classrooms from health and physical education to mathematics and character education. The cross-curricular approach will also be discussed, as well as the behind the scenes elements of writing a book.

The program is free and open to all adults. Light refreshments will be served.

Professional development credit is available for educators.

Because of limited space, registration is required. Registration can be done using the library’s online calendar at www.clarklibrary.org, by phone at 1-732-388-5999 or in person. The Clark Public Library is located at 303 Westfield Avenue in Clark.
