RAHWAY — Rahway Middle School students in Mrs. Tombs’ science classes practiced science safety. The eighth graders were introduced to the procedures of utilizing different lab equipment. After reviewing various safety rules and the need for them, students found the mass of different objects using a balance; students practiced putting exact amounts of water into a graduated cylinder, and found volume using a metric ruler.
