RAHWAY — Caroline Mull, a fifth grader at Madison Elementary School in Rahway, has obtained 1,000 points in the Accelerated Reader program.  She is the first student at the school to reach that plateau. Accelerated Reader (AR) is a daily reading progress-monitoring software assessment used by primary and secondary schools. Students choose and read a fiction or non-fiction book, textbook, or magazine. They then take a quiz, which gives teachers information regarding reading level and comprehension skills are available through the software.
