SCOTCH PLAINS — Are you looking for ways to introduce the Christian faith to your children? Have you recently moved to the Scotch Plains area or had a baby and are looking to meet other young families? Are you looking for a church home?

Willow Grove Presbyterian Church invites you to join the worship service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27, followed by a young families open house. Children are encouraged to come to worship and classes for all ages, including nursery care for babies and toddlers. After worship and classes, children are welcome to come to the open house. Snacks will be served.

The open house will last 30 minutes, covering what Willow Grove Presbyterian Church has to offer parents and children. Programs and groups include Moms’ Growth Group, young families social gatherings, intergenerational lunches and dinners, Men’s Night Out, Bible studies, Alpha series, KniTTogether, community service projects, youth group, family game and movie nights, and Willow Grove Preschool. Useful handouts with table graces, basic Bible verses, bedtime prayers, activity sheets and simple ways for families to celebrate Lent and Easter will be available to take home.

Parents are welcome to talk with Willow Grove’s Pastor, Rev. Cynthia Cochran-Carney, about questions regarding faith, the Bible, baptism, Presbyterian beliefs, death of a family member or pet, and any other topic.

Willow Grove Presbyterian Church is more than a place to worship on a Sunday morning. The church is committed to helping people experience God’s love and joy as a Christian community of faith, develop meaningful friendships with people of all ages, provide fun and relevant programs for families, and do community service projects that make a difference.

Willow Grove is located at 1961 Raritan Road in Scotch Plains near the southside soccer field. For more information, call 1-908-232-5678  or visit
