Dowdell Library Announces Upcoming Programs

SOUTH AMBOY – Dowdell Public Library of South Amboy invites community members to take part in upcoming events.

“Tot Time” is an interactive program that will be offered on Mondays at 11:30 a.m., March 7, 14 and 21 or Thursdays at 3:45 p.m. March 3 and 31. “Story & Activity” for children ages three to five years old takes place on Wednesdays at 3:45 p.m.; “Story & Activity” for ages five and older will take place Fridays at 3:45 p.m. (there is no program on March 25).

Teens and Adults are invited to join the knitting circle on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 6 p.m.

As part of Read Across America, children are encouraged to visit on March 2 to join the Book Buddies reading program.

March 6-12 is Teen Tech Week – “Mix & Mash @ your library”.

On Monday, March 14, celebrate the Sadie Pope Dowdell Library’s Birthday Celebration. Drop in from 3:30-7:30 p.m. for a slice of birthday cake. All ages welcome!

Registration is required for all activities, call 1-732-721-6060 or stop by the library at 100 Hoffman Plaza to sign up. (Programs may be canceled if there is insufficient interest.)
