Feb. 15 at 7:15 p.m. – At the Springfield Police Department, Officers George Marmarou and Brian Renda arrested Brooklyn, N.Y. resident Anthony Silvio, 31, and charged him with shoplifting from the Barnes & Noble bookstore on Raritan Road. He was subsequently turned over to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department on their warrant. Also arrested was Jamaica, N.Y. resident Sanowar Hossain, 41, also charged with shoplifting. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date

Feb. 17 at 1:55 p.m. – In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, Officer Brian Renda arrested West Orange resident Javier Imbert, 29, and charged him with DWI and possession of CDS. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Feb. 19 at 3:12 p.m. – In the vicinity of Lake Avenue and Hayes Avenue, Officer Antonio Manata arrested Piscataway resident Brian Ochoa, 20, and charged him with possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance released pending a court date.

Feb. 20 at 3:44 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officer Thomas Sarnecki arrested Newark resident Jeffrey Miller, 50, and charged him with shoplifting merchandise valued at $273.41 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.
