CLARK — First grade students at St. Agnes School in Clark recently celebrated the 100th day of school. A tradition carried out by first grade teacher Helen Shaffer, children made posters of 100 special items, did 100 jumping jacks and learned to count to 100 many different ways.
This year, students also ran a food drive in an effort to collect 100 cans of food which will be donated to the Street Light Mission in Elizabeth which exists to help those struggling from poverty, addiction, abuse and hopelessness restore their lives. The students surpassed their goal, collecting 160 cans.
