Linden Announces Spring Library Programs For Children

LINDEN — The Linden Public Library has ongoing weekly programs for young children.

The group for infants up to 12 months of age is called Baby Time and meets on Mondays from 10 to 10:45 a.m.  This is a lap-sit group for parents and children offering children’s songs including Mother Goose rhymes, and a story from a picture book.  The group ends with a social time where the babies can play with toys, and see one another.

The group for children from 13 months to 35 months of age is called the Toddler Two’s.  It meets on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.  Children will enjoy to stories from picture books, listen to children’s songs and dance, and practice Mother Goose rhymes.

On Wednesday mornings, the library offers the Terrific Three’s group for children from 3 to 5 years of age.  It meets from 10 to 11 a.m. to read four picture books, practice Mother Goose rhymes, and play children’s music for movements, and dances.

All groups meet on the third floor of the Library.  Elevator service is available. Parents and/or caregivers must remain with their children in the group.  Registration for the group is required.
