NEW BRUNSWICK – Former NFL player Bo Eason will appear in “Runt of the Litter” presented by the State Theatre on Saturday, March 5, at 8 p.m. The semi-autobiographical story of Eason’s life will take place at the Crossroads Theatre. Tickets are $30.
Eason’s one-man play tells of his struggles to overcome hurdles and achieve athletic success. Playwright and performer Bo Eason was a safety for the Houston Oilers for five seasons from 1984-89. After retiring from football, he became an actor. Eason is currently adapting “Runt of the Litter” as a feature film to be directed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile).
