SCOTCH PLAINS — Center For Hope Hospice & Palliative Care will offer a four-week lecture series titled “Journey through Grief.” The series will run Tuesday evenings, March 1 – 22 from 7–9 p.m. It will be held at Center For Hope’s Peter M. Shields Administration Building, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains.
The Journey through Grief program addresses issues common to death and bereavement. Topics include the Tasks of Mourning, Anger and Guilt, and Coping and Taking Care of Yourself. In addition, each week a speaker will share their story of loss and how they have learned to cope and continue on in their lives. The program is non-denominational.
Pre-registration is not required and there is no cost for participants. The series is opened to the public. Guests are invited to bring family members and friends.
