EDISON — Workshops on applying for financial aid for college will be offered at Middlesex County College. The workshops, which are open to current Middlesex students and those who have applied, will be held on the college’s Edison campus and the New Brunswick Center.
“The financial aid process can sometimes be confusing,” said Aretha Watson, director of admissions and assistant dean of enrollment and student support services. “At this workshop, we’ll help you go online and apply. By the time you finish the workshop, you will have applied for aid.”
The workshops on the Edison campus, 2600 Woodbridge Ave., will be held Mondays from Feb. 28 through April 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Thursdays from Feb. 17 through April 28 from 2-4 p.m. In addition, the workshops will be held from 9-11 a.m. on the following Saturdays: Feb. 26, April 9, April 30, May 7 and May 14.
The New Brunswick sessions, which are at 140 New Street, will be at 6 p.m. on Feb. 16, March 23, April 6, April 27, May 11, and June 15.
