WOODBRIDGE — On Saturday, January 22, The Provident Bank announced that Antoinette Deliman of Edison won first prize and Jackie Bilotta of Monroe Township was the second-place winner of its “Share the Wealth” sweepstakes.
The sweepstakes was hosted by Provident to give a financial boost to consumers and charities alike during the holiday season, and awarded more than $20,000, including a $5,000 grand prize with a $5,000 matching donation from Provident to a charity. In addition to the top prizes, 12 weekly winners received a $250 Provident Bank Visa® Gift Card and a $250 matching donation to a charity of their choice.
The grand-prize went to Joseph Hunoval Jr. of Madison and the Navy League Warrior Foundation. Deliman won $2,500, with a $2,500 matching donation to Concordia Learning Center at St. Joseph’s School for the Blind in Jersey City. Bilotta won $1,250, with a matching donation for Elijah’s Promise, a soup kitchen in New Brunswick.
Lisanne Finston, executive director of Elijah’s Promise, was thrilled to be selected by Bilotta as the charity to receive a matching donation. “The gift is a wonderful blessing and will go a long way to feed our neighbors in need,” she said. “Neighbors like Provident and Ms. Bilotta embody the meaning of community and help us all to be stronger and more successful,” she said.
“We were happy to offer these sweepstakes to help New Jersey residents celebrate the holiday season and support their favorite charities,” said Chris Martin, president and CEO of Provident. “As a community bank, Provident is committed to building and maintaining relationships with its customers and supporting the communities it serves. What better way to show it than by giving a financial boost to consumers and the charities that are meaningful to them?”
