WOODBRIDGE – Interactive folk troubadour Spook Handy and his band “The Spook Handy Trio” will kick off the “Exit 11: NJ Arts Interactive” Grant Concert Series at the Barron Arts Center, located at 582 Rahway Avenue, Woodbridge, on Friday, March 4, at 8 p.m. Admission is free, but reservations are required; call 1-732-634-0413 for more information or to reserve your seats.
Handy has acquired a reputation for making his performances intimate interactive experiences for audiences to long remember. His songs of peace, hope and survival appeal to all ages.
These concerts and workshops are being sponsored by The Woodbridge Cultural Arts Commission and the Woodbridge Township Arts Council with the support of Mayor John McCormac. Funding has been made possible in part by The Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission through a grant provided by The New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
