LINDEN – The city’s Department Of Public Property & Community Services offers an emergency response system that can improve the safety of elderly and disabled residents, as well as anyone who lives alone, regardless of age.

For a minimal monthly monitoring fee, residents can subscribe to the Linden Emergency Response System. In the event of an emergency, the resident could push a button on a wireless pocket-sized transmitter to signal a central dispatch station.  The dispatcher will speak with the resident to determine their need and take appropriate action by notifying the proper emergency service responder.
