LINDEN – NJ Transit customers may experience minor delays as Amtrak performs track work to replace deteriorating railroad ties near Linden Station.
Track B, the outbound local track, will go out of service on Friday evening, Feb. 11, through mid-March while the work is completed. Customers boarding or exiting westbound trains at Linden Station will be required to use platform bridges. Transit officials ask customers to remain on the regular platform until directed by a member of the train crew.
Passengers may experience up to 10 minute delays during peak periods, transit officials said.
Beginning in mid-March, the second phase of this project will begin, affecting customers boarding inbound (eastbound) trains at Rahway and Linden stations. For updated service information, visit njtransit.com.
