Dobbin, who has worked for the hospital for 21 year, won for helping the sister of a dying patient cope with her brother’s death, while Gonzalez, who has worked at the hospital for 20 years, won for taking on a a new role of pharmacy purchasing when a co-worker was out on disability.
“What you do is so important because it impacts so many people’s lives, and that’s a gift,” Tice told the two winners.
