Feb. 2 – Each week on Wednesdays, a group gathers for study of the Torah with the Lunch n’ Learn program. No prior knowledge is necessary. Bring your lunch or just an appetite for learning. Dates include Feb. 2, 9, 16 & 23 at 12:30 p.m.
Feb. 11 — SHABBAT ALIVE! starts at 7 p.m. This evening’s service of song and celebration delights in your participation.
Feb. 12 –– TOT SHABBAT, a special program aimed toward younger children, includes an age appropriate Shabbat Service and a Jewish craft project at 6 p.m. The adult service starts at 8 p.m. and features the New Jersey Cantor’s Concert Ensemble performing “Musical Notes From Around the World.” A reception will follow the concert. Tickets cost $30 for members, $35 for non-members. (Reduced costs for early ticket purchases.) This is a Temple fund-raiser.
Feb. 13 –– “Sweet Mud,” an Israeli hit film, is presented by Temple Emanu-El’s Lifelong Learning Committee. There is no charge for showing this first run film.
Feb. 18 — A Healing Service will be the theme of this evening’s congregation. All who attend can experience its benefit.
Feb. 19 — Annual Torahthon This special day centers on the study of Torah. You, too, can be a scholar-for-a-day, even with no prior knowledge but a desire to learn more than you knew. Lunch is available for $10. Call the Temple 1-732-549-4442 if you wish to reserve lunch. Everyone is welcome.
