African History Month Concert At Kean

UNION — The Concert Artist Program of Kean University will present an African-American History Month concert on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. The strength and hope inspired by spirituals—the music of mourning, comfort, and the celebration of the African Diaspora— will be showcased at Kean Hall by Richard Hobson, baritone; Robbin Gordon-Cartier, harp; and Allison Brewster Franzetti piano

The Concert Artist Program brings world-renowned performing musicians onto the faculty of the Conservatory of Music to teach private studio lessons and classroom courses for Kean students and well as offer community outreach services and master classes.

Kean Hall is located on Kean’s main campus at the Green Lane entrance, just off of 1000 Morris Avenue in Union.
