RAHWAY — The Rahway Public Library has launched an online Career Resource Center, which includes tools, services, and databases that will help you find work or further your career. This site includes a free resume builder, job search sites, links to government agencies, and much more.
Learn to navigate this resource by attending a workshop on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. or Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 p.m. Rahway Public Library cardholders may register for one of these sessions by stopping at the reference desk or by calling 1-732-340-1551 x 212.
Learn about resources for career planning, job search engines, military careers, and more. Several of databases will be highlighted including Optimal Resume, a web-based program that allows job seekers to create high-impact resumes and cover letters and share them online. The features of Learning Express, an interactive database that offers online preparation for a wide variety of vocational and aptitude tests, will also be explored.
Come to the workshop and discover how the Career Resource Center can improve your job search. Bring your valid Rahway Public Library card with you.
