Elizabeth Public Schools Holds Student Photo Competition

ELIZABETH — Elizabeth Public Schools is holding its second annual student photo exhibition and competition called “Picturing Excellence.”

The purpose of the competition is to discover and recognize talented Elizabeth Public Schools’ students who capture the excellent achievements that are taking place in the district through photography. Winners will receive a commemorative plaque and be honored at a monthly Elizabeth Board of Education meeting.

The contest is open to Elizabeth Public Schools students in grades six through twelve. The deadline for photo submissions is April 5. A winning photograph from every participating school will be selected and mounted for exhibit in May 2011. Photographs will also be posted on the district website at www.epsnj.org
