Perth Amboy Hosts Workshop For 1st-Time Entrepreneurs Tonight

PERTH AMBOY — The City of Perth Amboy, in conjunction with the Perth Amboy Business Improvement District (BID) and the Perth Amboy Urban Enterprise Zone will hold a small business workshop for first-time entrepreneurs on Jan. 19.

The free workshop, entitled “Starting and Running Your Business,” will cover how to tap into free resources to grow a business, learn how to check and improve your credit score, how to create a business plan, how to determine cash flow needs, how to set goals for your business and how to understand and analyze basic financial information.

The class will be held at the Department Training Room on the third floor of the Perth Amboy Fire Department at 375 New Brunswick Ave., on Wednesday, Jan. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
