Jan. 4 at 8:38 a.m. — Det. David Satkowski investigated a report of a theft of tires and wheels from a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence at an  Acorn Drive residence.

Jan. 4 at 1:14 p.m. – At the Monmouth County Jail, Officer Kenneth Sarnecki arrested Toms River resident Manuel Rivera, 39, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Jan. 6 at 11:47 a.m. – Officer David Satkowski investigated a report of a theft of items from a locker at a business on the 100 block of Central Avenue.

Jan. 7 at 8:46 p.m. – In the vicinity of the 100 block of Westfield Avenue, Officer George Marmarou arrested Garwood resident Christopher Pares, 19, and charged him with possession of CDS.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date

Jan. 9 at 6:43 p.m. – In the vicinity of the 700 block of Raritan Road, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Keasbey resident Yvonne Daniel, 46, on outstanding warrants from Newark and Piscataway for contempt of court.  She was subsequently turned over to the Piscataway Police Department.

Jan. 10 at 12:14 p.m. – Officer Antonio Manata investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a business on the 100 block of Westfield Avenue.

Jan. 10 at 5:47 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue, Officer Antonio Manata arrested Roselle Park resident Anthony Triola, 41, and charged him with shoplifting $192.21 worth of merchandise from the Target Department Store.  He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Jan. 10 at 6:36 p.m. – Officer Brian Soos investigated a report of a burglary to a Broadway residence.

Jan. 12 at 10:59 a.m. – Officer Marty Venezio investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at a residence on the 100 block of Dorset Drive.

Jan. 12 at 11:44 a.m. – At the Edison Police Department, Det. Alex Yanes arrested Roselle resident Christopher Flores, 26, and charged him with theft.  He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Jan. 14 at 6:36 a.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Harold Avenue residence.
