Elks Plan 60s-Themed Fundraiser

NEW BRUNSWICK — It’s time to break out the granny glasses and go-go boots. New Brunswick Elks Lodge 324 will be sponsoring a 60s-themed dinner-dance at the Elks Lodge, 40 Livingston Avenue from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29.

The popular 60s band, Carnaby Street, will perform an array of pop music from the great rock and roll bands of the 60s, while the Elks will provide a 60s-themed ala carte menu.

Tickets are available at $25 per person by contacting the Elks at 1-732-545-0658.

Proceeds from the fund-raising event go to support the New Brunswick Elks, a charitable organization dedicated to helping children with disabilities and to assisting needy veterans. The organization has more than 500 members from New Brunswick and surrounding communities, including North Brunswick, Milltown, Highland Park and Franklin Township.
