WOODBRIDGE – The Woodbridge Interfaith Clergy Council, along with township students and the choir from First Baptist Church of Woodbridge will honor the memory and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Woodbridge Community Center.
The winners of the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. essay contest, sponsored by the Woodbridge Township Board of Education, will read their work. Members of the Interfaith Clergy Council will offer personal remembrances of Dr. King, and the Colonia High School and First Baptist Church of Woodbridge choirs will present musical selections in memory of Dr. King.
Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation for the Woodbridge Food Bank.
