Parisi Named Commandant Of Fort Bragg Noncommissioned Officer Academy

Sgt. Maj. Nicolino Parisi

FAYETTVILLE, N.C. — Army Command Sgt. Maj. Nicolino Parisi assumed responsibilities as command sergeant major and commandant of the XVIII Airborne Noncommissioned Officer Academy at Fort Bragg, Fayetteville, N.C.

At a Warrior Leader Course graduating class, the incoming commandant promised to continue leading and training soldiers by example, and made it clear that he would continue executing the outgoing commandant’s legacy of excellence at the noncommissioned officer academy.


Parisi has served in the military for 29 years. He is the son of Goffredo and Filomena Parisi of Westfield. His wife, Lauren, is the daughter of Lawrence and Lillian Coleman of Fayetteville, N.C.

The command sergeant major graduated in 1979 from Westfield High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in 2001 from Excelsior College, Albany, N.Y.  In 2006, Parisi earned a master of arts degree in education from Touro University International, Cypress, Calif.
