Elks Plan Fundraiser For Injured Rutgers Football Player

NEW BRUNSWICK — Alfredo’s Restaurant and New Brunswick Elks Lodge 324 are sponsoring a dinner at the Elks Lodge at 40 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick on Sunday, Jan. 30, to raise funds for Eric LeGrand, a Rutgers University football player who was seriously injured in October.

Dinner, with a choice of four entrees, will be served from 1 to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $35 per person with $10 from each ticket going toward the Eric LeGrand Believe Fund. In addition, $2 on each drink will be donated to the fund.

The New Brunswick Elks, a charitable organization dedicated to helping children with special needs and to assisting needy veterans, has more than 500 members from New Brunswick, North Brunswick, Milltown, Highland Park and Franklin Township.
