EDISON — On Monday, Jan. 24, firefighters from around New Jersey will compete at the Cooked and Uncorked Food and Wine Festival benefiting New Jersey State Firefighter’s Mutual Benevolent Association and Saint Barnabas Burn Foundation.
The competition is part of the culinary extravaganza where participants will be able to experience the tastes and flavors of more than 39 of New Jersey’s finest restaurants, caterers and dessert shops all in one location. This event, which draws people from throughout New Jersey, will be held at The Pines Manor, 2085 Route 27, Edison, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. The Master of Ceremonies will be Joe Nolan from WPLJ 95.5 FM Radio.
The Ultimate Fire Department Cook-off will be an integral part of the evening as Fire Departments from Bayonne, Belleville, Carteret, Cranford, Hamilton Twp., Linden, New Brunswick, North Hudson, Trenton and Union Fire Departments all compete against each other. WABC-TV’s Eyewitness News Team Bill Evans, Ken Rosato and Lori Stokes will be the celebrity guest judges. Investors Savings Bank, ShopRite, Allied Beverage Group and Paul Davis Restoration are event sponsors.
Representatives from The Pampered Chef, Le Creuset, Tastefully Simple, Wine Soiree and H&K Wine Caddy Sculptures will be present to sell their products.
