CARTERET — A free training program offered by Middlesex County College and held at the Carteret Library will be offered starting in January. The classes include computer skills, mathematics, English and communication and continue throughout the spring.

“This free program, provided by a grant from the New Jersey Business and Industry Association, is designed to build the workforce in Carteret,” said Patricia Moran, director of the college’s Institute for Training and Technical Development. “The individuals must be currently employed, and if an organization has 10 employees for a class, we hold it at their site. If they cannot meet the 10 people requirement, the class meets at the Carteret Library.”
