Cross-town Pen Pals

CLARK– Second grade students in Jennifer Lewis’s class at Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School have an old fashioned pen and paper relationship with Gail Lombardi’s second grade students at Valley Road Elementary School in Clark. All of the students demonstrate and develop their writing skills by creating letters to a pen pal across town and then mail their monthly letters. The two classes were introduced in December and spent the day learning together. Pictured are the students from the two classes. (Photo courtesy of Hehnly School)
