Dec. 22 at 7:03 a.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at a Lexington Blvd residence.

Dec. 22 at 2:35 p.m. – Officer Kenneth Sarnecki investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at a Lexington Blvd residence.

Dec. 22 at 3:45 p.m. – Officer Kenneth Sarnecki investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at an Emerald Place residence.

Dec. 22 at 4:07 p.m. – Officer Kenneth Sarnecki investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at a Lexington Blvd residence.

Dec. 23 at 8:53 p.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road, Officer Christian Lott arrested Hillside resident Preston Fletcher, 22, and charged him with possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Dec. 24 at 1:36 a.m. – In the vicinity of Raritan Road, Officer Christian Lott arrested Staten Island, N.Y. resident Lorraine Holston, 41, on outstanding warrants from Dunellen, Ridgefield Park and Union Township for contempt of court. She was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license and subsequently turned over to the Dunellen Police Department.

Dec. 31 at 9:18 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officers Christian Lott and George Marmarou arrested Brooklyn, N.Y. resident Taharah Morris, 32, and on charges of shoplifting, credit card fraud and conspiracy. Brooklyn resident Shaneke Barrett, 18, was also arrested and charged with credit card fraud and conspiracy; Brooklyn resident Myasia Wilcher, 23, was arrested and charged with conspiracy and Brooklyn resident Michael Gibson, 21, was arrested and charged with credit card fraud. All were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates.
