RAHWAY — Throughout the year, students at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway learn how to use different kinds of technology and various computer programs and skills through weekly sessions in the school’s computer lab.

Recently, the school’s fifth graders completed a state project. Linda Lampert, the school’s technology facilitator, assigned a different state to each student, and then she taught them how to create a PowerPoint presentation that included all the bells and whistles.  Once they were done, students used Flip cameras to record each other reading their presentations.  Afterward, students watched each other’s presentations on the big screen.
