PTA Holds Holiday Read-Along

LINDEN — The Linden School No. 9 PTA held its fifth annual Barnes and Noble Read-A- Long. This one of the many initiatives of the PTA to promote reading and made it fun for the children to read in a different environment.

The children came in their pajamas and got cozy as the teachers, the principal and community read stories from different genres. This year Santa made a surprise visit and helped Mrs. Harris with the holiday sing-a-long. The 50 children in attendance not only received a candy cane but also homework pass.

Natalia Goralyczyk and Claudia Rusin of School No.9 are eager to listen to the next story.
