GARWOOD — The 5th Annual Step Up for The Arc raised $42,000 to help The Arc of Union County continue programs and services serving more than 1,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities enabling them and their families to enjoy a productive and enhanced life.
On Dec. 15 the top fundraising teams were recognized at an awards breakfast at The Westwood in Garwood. More than 50 teams representing families, friends and companies rallied together and by utilizing tools including FirstGiving, surpassed everyone’s expectations.
Many fundraisers did not accept prizes, so The Arc of Union County was able to utilize more of the funds raised directly on programs and services.
