CLARK — Grateful for their ongoing support of The Clark Scholarship Fund, the fund’s president and treasurer recently presented a recognition plaque to Columbia Bank’s Clark branch manager, Sharon Reddin.
Clark Scholarship Fund President Fay Fink admitted, “2010 has proven to be a very challenging fundraising year. We are so very appreciative of Columbia Bank’s generosity in sponsoring The Fund.”
In every town in which Columbia Bank has a branch, they strive to form a unique partnership by joining local organizations, by supporting charitable and civic events, and by sponsoring affordable housing programs. Their sponsorship of The Clark Scholarship Fund is evidence of this commitment.
The Clark Scholarship Fund was founded in 1951 by local Clark citizens to honor outstanding, college-bound Clark Township students. During this time more than 250 scholarships have been awarded totaling over $295,000. The fund is supported entirely by contributions from businesses and individual citizens in the community. Donations are accepted at ClarkScholarshipFund.com or you can send a check to: Lance Steinberg, Treasurer. 357 Oak Ridge Road, Clark, NJ 07066.
Columbia Bank, founded in 1927, is a full service community bank for individuals and families as well as a commercial bank for business owners and professionals. The bank has 44 offices that offer quality service, convenient banking hours and competitive rates.
