CLARK — Students in Mrs. Peitz’s first grade class at Valley Road School in Clark recently enjoyed a break from their regular schoolwork to make their own gingerbread houses. The children and their parents, along with the help of Mrs. Peitz and Miss McMyne, a student teacher, used milk cartons, graham crackers and vanilla frosting to build their houses and a variety of candies to decorate and personalize them.
