LINDEN – A deli on Hagel Avenue was robbed yesterday morning by two men wearing ski masks, authorities said.

The two robbers entered Your Deli at around 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 9; there were no customers in the store at the time. One robber punched the deli owner in the head while the second man took a cigar box containing cash from behind the counter. The robbers also took the storeowner’s iPhone.

The robbers left the store and drove in the direction of Elizabeth in an older model two-door green car. The storeowner was treated for minor bruises to his head.

Authorities ask anyone with information about the crime to contact Det. John Johnston at 1-908-474-8550 or email
