Carteret Police Promote Holiday Safety

CARTERET – The Carteret Police Department’s Crime Prevention Unit will present a program on holiday safety this week in conjunction with the Neighborhood Watch Program.

Residents are invited to the Community Center at the Carteret Library, 100 Cooke Avenue, on Wednesday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. to learn how to stay safe this holiday season.


Officer Robert Wargocki will show residents the steps they can take to make the holidays safe for themselves and their homes. Afterwards, the Neighborhood Watch will hold its annual Christmas party. Both events are open to all Carteret residents.
