LINDEN — Linden School No. 9 added a twist to American Education Week. For one day, the school had three principals.
Acting principals Samantha Jezowicz, and Abigail Nemec-Merwede assisted Danny Robertozzi, the principal of School 9. Students had to write an essay as part of an educational contest that the school held. The winners were become acting principals for the day.
The acting principals were briefed by Robertozzi in the morning as to what the principal’s responsibilities are for the day, greetings at the door, speaking with teachers and parents, making morning announcements and listening to various situations. As the day progressed, the students visited classrooms, delivered important messages to teachers, kept a watchful eye on the halls, and helped with duty in the cafeteria, and organized materials and books.
Acting principal for the day Abigail Nemec- Merwede solves some problems by having a direct link with the community.
