PERTH AMBOY – The Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds to support the medical center’s facilities in Perth Amboy and Old Bridge, recently received a $12,500 grant from The Provident Bank Foundation. The donation will support the foundation’s Employee Giving Fund.
“We are extremely grateful for The Provident Bank Foundation’s continued support of our employee giving initiative,” said Gina Mancini, director of development for the Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation. “For the second consecutive year, RBMC employees, in conjunction with The Provident Bank Foundation, have supported the medical center and their gifts have helped to purchase necessary items normally excluded from the hospital’s budget.”
The fund provides employees the opportunity to adopt RBMC as one of its charities of choice. The grant from The Provident Bank Foundation will serve as a matching donation for all employee donations as part of the Employee Giving program. This year, funds raised through Employee Giving will support all departments through a mini-grant program. Each department can apply for up to $1,500 for equipment, software or supplies.
“It is our pleasure to be able to team up with the employees of the Raritan Bay Medical Center by matching their donations, and benefiting the many areas of the medical center in need of new equipment,” said Kendall Warsaw, executive director of The Provident Bank Foundation. “We are proud to continue our support of the RBMC and its charitable foundation.”
