RAHWAY — When Teddy Roosevelt became President, the United States had 5 National Parks: Yellowstone, Yosemite, Sequoia, General Grant, and Mount Rainier. Roosevelt doubled the number of Nation Parks to 10. Students in Mrs. Polanin’s 5th grade class at Roosevelt School in Rahway recently created dioramas of the National Parks.
