“…wwmjd (the kid was not His son)…”

I’ll simply start off by saying that…I liked Michael Jackson, especially his early days with the Jackson Five…but, of course, when he passed away, thousands upon thousands of fans came out of the woodwork to celebrate his life and his music…and, of course, as always happens whenever anyone passes away, his albums started flying off the shelf in numbers that he hadn’t seen in years, actually surpassing Elvis Presley in sales for the year…

Now, Elvis (of course) is the ultimate in posthumous sales, still raking in as much as he did when he was alive, which, of course, was more than anybody, ever…(with Garth Brooks nipping at his heels…)

[smartads]

But the strange thing about Michael is, though most kinda ‘forgot’ about him until he passed, once he did, then some even treated him like he was the second coming…(no offense, but I actually even saw paintings of him on the cross with scripture underneath suggesting that…)…

And now, he’s back, with a supposed new album, from which they released a single called “Hold My Hand”…(and, it didn’t take long for many to realize it was ‘highly influenced’ by the Hootie And The Blowfish song of the same name even, and the courts are gonna have fun with this one…)

But also…the album (which is labeled as ‘previously unreleased tracks’ by MJ himself), is, in itself, under question, because many (including Jackson family members) are saying that about half the tracks aren’t even Michael singing…it’s an impersonator…

So…what the outcome of all of this will be interesting to see, but…

…‘why now’ might even be the more important question…
