The four-member pop-punk band Goodbye Friday is made up of singer Rocco Costanza, guitarist Aaron Henriquez, bassist Mark Braun and drummer Anthony Arci. They have played at venues ranging from Six Flags Great Adventure to the Stone Pony, and recorded their first full-length album this fall.

Meadowland is the youngest band ever to play at The Bamboozle, a two-day New Jersey music festival. They have also opened for pop stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. The four-member teen band is made up of singer Jackie from East Brunswick, guitarist Mikey of Upper Saddle River, bassist Shane and drummer Jeff, both from North Brunswick.

Singer Bree Iafelice and guitarist Nick Iafelice of East Brunswick, guitarist Trevor Smith of Monroe, bassist Kyle Davis of Monroe and drummer Ricky Joyce of Milltown are The New Royalty. The five-member band features a sound that’s a mix of pop, alternative, rock and punk with melodramatic vocals. They have recorded music to raise money for the Millstone Township Foundation for Educational Excellence and the Graeme Preston Foundation and perform for numerous charities.

The 25 artists who received the most Demands moved to a semifinal round where they were narrowed down to 5 by a music industry A-List panel of judges including reps from Z100, Island Def Jam, Universal Music Group, and Sony Music Entertainment. Fans can now log on to http://eventful.com/z100 to watch a music video from each finalist and demand their favorite. The winner of Z100’s Hometown Hero will be announced on Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. on Z100.

A previous version of this story incorrectly identified the bassist of the New Royalty.
